The San Pedro and Peninsula YMCA is the largest not-for-profit community service organization in the Los Angeles Harbor areas. In their service area, they meet the health and social service needs of 22,000 men, women and children.
The project consisted of the development of the master plan for the renovation of the 3.5 acre YMCA site. The development included the addition of approx. 93 onsite parking spaces, the reconfiguration of onsite vehicular circulation area; addition of a new patio; building entry and pedestrians walkways, reduction of the number
of driveways, walking trails and outdoor area with one story building for restroom facilities, and arts and crafts/multipurpose use.
Consulting service included:
Due diligence services, utility coordination, ALTA survey & topographic survey, city planning and public works department coordination, building design assistance, conceptual site assistance, off-site and on-site cost analysis, project budget coordination, grading/drainage design, horizontal control check, SWPPP & SUSMP, street improvement plans, street lights, bid assistance RFI’s, field engineering, construction manager at risk, cost estimating, coordination of sub consultants, permitting process for mechanical, electrical, architectural, and all other required permits to this project.
